- It works as a synthetic auxin. It belongs to a family of phenoxy-carboxylic acids.
- It is used on a wide variety of terrestrial and aquatic broadleaf weeds. It has little effect on grasses.

Features
- It is a safe and wide-spectrum weedicide for the control of broad-leaved weeds in many crops.
- It is a selective, systemic weedicide of the Phenoxy acetic group.
- Apart from effectively controlling broadleaf weeds, these also control the Cyperus sp.
- It is absorbed by the leaves and roots and translocated into the weed plants.
- Ensure sufficient soil moisture at the time of application. It should be applied between 30-40 Days of sowing/planting.
Mode of Action
- It is a selective systemic herbicide. It acts as a growth inhibitor.
- The salts are readily absorbed by the roots, whilst esters are readily absorbed by the foliage.
- Translocation occurs, with accumulation principally at the meristematic regions of shoots and roots.
