Tomei Expreme Exhaust Manifold for Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution V–IX (4G63 Engine)

Description

The 4G63 Expreme manifold is one of a kind in design. Starting off with its smooth curves, the Expreme exhaust manifold has excellent flow characteristics. The tubing used has a diameter of 45mm and is considered to be the best size when achieving maximum torque.

The material used for the piping and flange is aircraft quality SUS304 stainless steel. This material is very durable against corrosion and other harmful elements. Though in time, a light discoloration may be present, it is to be noted that this material will not deteriorate.

The process used to assemble this manifold together is known as the lost wax method and is very advanced in the sense that it helps promote strength and long lasting structural integrity. Alongside this well-developed manifold is a manifold accessory known as a heat shield. This one off in design heat shielding device is also made from durable SUS304 stainless steel.

Holding the same quality as our other Expreme exhaust components, this 4G63 EVO exhaust manifold is a perfect balance of ingenuity and is more efficient through numerous R & D testing.
In the early stages of development, we worked with the original exhaust manifold to find the true limits of the factory production piece. After gathering numerous data from the original equipment tests, we slowly pieced together our Expreme exhaust manifold.

Initial development investments were required, but the final product quality has paid off substantially. Numerous installations have been made in Japan and never once did the user experience installation troubles or mounting difficulties. The engine exhaust port and exhaust manifold flanges have been enlarged ever so slightly to allow for a stronger mounting point, yet promote a perfect seal. And lastly, the manifold and turbo flanges are also enlarged to promote a more effective seal.
