Kansai Service has adopted a design that suppresses the flow of running wind from the side of the body to the bottom of the floor. The sharp and wide molding enhances the downforce generated from the flat floor shape peculiar to the R35 GT-R.
The side steps, which are combined with the front lip to align the bottom line, emphasize the volume of the front and rear wheel housings by narrowing towards the center of the step. The bottom has a flat finish that is not affected by the narrowing, resulting in a simple, sporty styling that is characteristic of Kansai.
The narrowing towards the centre not only emphasises the strength of the front and rear wheel housings, but also adds a high-quality dynamic feel to the side sections, which tend to be monotonous due to their surface-based structure.
