Mode of Action

• Enters through plant roots and establishes a symbiotic relationship.
• Spores germinate in the soil → form hyphae → penetrate root cortex → create a nutrient exchange network.
• Biochar particles act as a habitat and carrier, helping spores attach and colonize faster.
• VAM fungi extend 100–1000× extra root surface area through hyphal networks.
• Dissolves tightly-bound nutrients (P, Zn, Fe, S, Cu) through organic acids & enzymes.
• Improves water absorption & drought tolerance. Blocks entry of root pathogens & reduces nematode activity.

Dosage

• Per Acre 100 g per acre (ideal with soil application/FYM mixing or during planting)
• Per Litre (For liquid slurry application) Mix 5–10 g per litre of water and drench the root zone.
• (Note: Mycorrhiza is best applied near the roots; avoid foliar spray.)

Method Of Application

• Apply in moist soil and avoid direct sunlight exposure to spores.
• Do not mix with fungicides during or immediately after application.
• Works best when applied during planting, transplanting, or early growth stage.
• Compatible with organic manures, FYM, compost, and biofertilizers.
• Shelf life is long due to biochar-based carrier which protects spores. Ideal for reducing chemical fertilizer usage (especially phosphorus & nitrogen).
