- Mode of Action: Nematodes form knots on the roots of the plant and from there they absorb nutrients from the roots. As a result, the plant lacks nutrition. Verticillium chlamydosporium secretes a serine peptidase toxin lethal to nematodes, which is helpful to control nematodes.
