• Technical Name: Chlorpyriphos 20% CS
• Mode of Entry: Non-systemic with contact stomach and respiratory action
• Mode of Action: Chloro CS kills insects upon contact by affecting the normal function of the nervous system. It affects the nervous system of the target pest by inhibiting the breakdown of acetylcholine (ACh), a neurotransmitter.

Katyayani Chloro CS Insecticide Usage & Crops

Recommended Crops: Paddy, beans, grams, mung, sugarcane, groundnut, cotton, brinjal, and other fruits and vegetables.

Targets Pests: Hispa, leaf roller, stem borer, whorl maggot, aphids, cutworm, Bihar hairy caterpillar, black bug, pyrilla, white fly, jassids, pink bollworm, shoot and fruit borer, among others.

Dosage & Method of Application

• For foliar spray: Use 300-500 ml/ Acre, depending on the severity of pest attack.
• Soil treatment (wheat): 2-3 L / ha
• Soil treatment (sugarcane): 6.25 L /ha

Termite control

• Non-cropped area: Apply at 1% a.i. for building (pre & post-construction treatment) and forestry
• Cropped area: Wheat: 3-4 ml/kg seed, Barley: 4-6 ml/kg seed, Gram: 15-30 ml/kg seed

Additional Information

• Katyayani Chloro CS Insecticide is compatible with all existing plant protection chemicals presently available in the market.
• Ber, citrus and tobacco crops to be omitted from approved usage.
